Fellowship and Community Outreach

On-going, Christian-centered activities in the congregation include:

·          Grief Support (as needed)

·          Sunday morning fellowship in narthex following 9 am worship

·          Periodic Small Group Fellowship

·          Wednesday Morning Bible Study

·          Women’s Prayer Breakfast, 2nd Saturday, 7:30 am, all ladies welcome!

·          Men’s Prayer Breakfast, 2nd Saturday, 7:30 am, we encourage new participants & guests! 

Fellowship Events, Theatre Outings, & Informal Bible Study Breakfasts offered periodically.

 

·          Softball Team—April to August—County-wide Christian league.

·          Annual Picnic—June—Traditional picnic and entertainment, following worship service the

·          second Sunday in June.

·          Community Block Party—Fall—fun and games with our church members and our Cloverdale neighbors.

·          Red Cross Blood Drives—January and September...watch for announced dates!

We support the Hilda Barg Homeless Prevention Center in Woodbridge ( www.volunteersofamerica.org) and contribute time, talent and treasure to “ACTS” - Action in the Community Through Service ( www.actspwc.org), a Christian-based relief service in Eastern Prince William County, Youth Encounter ( www.youthencounter.org), Lutheran Family Services ( www.LFSVA.org) and our congregation holds membership and continues to support the Cooperative Council of Ministries ( www.ccomcares.org)

 

We also enthusiastically support Scouting and provide space for TOPS (Take Off Pounds Sensibly) and the Horticultural Therapy Program of Prince William County.
