Welcome!
Any number of things can inspire someone to search for a church home. Maybe you have moved and are looking for a place to land. Maybe you are searching for a community where you will be welcomed for who you are and invited to actively live out your faith. Maybe you going through some other period of transition that has caused you to search for a spiritual home. No matter the reason, you have taken the time to listen to the still, small voice prompting you to seek out connection with God and with your neighbors.
We are glad that you are searching, and we are particularly glad that you are considering Lutheran Church of the Covenant (LCOC). This is a community of hope where you will be uplifted and celebrated.
We know that trying out a new church can be intimidating, but we want to make you feel comfortable.
Here are three way to get started at LCOC:
Worship
Worship is a core part of this community and a service is held each Sunday at 9:30 a.m. in the sanctuary. Come for in-person worship as we sing, read scripture, listen to a message from the pastor, enjoy communion, and are sent into the world to serve others. These services are also live streamed at the same time if you would like to worship online.
Email Pastor Grace
We are excited to greet you, but we have to know you are in the community to do that. Please email Pastor Grace so she can welcome you, answer any questions you might have, and encourage you in your faith journey. If you are worshipping online, please use the check-in tool on our website so we know you're here and can fully welcome you!
Get Involved in One Thing
There are so many ways to serve God and neighbor at Lutheran Church of the Covenant. What are you passionate about? Pick a ministry area and jump in! It could be serving the community, gardening, preparing communion, attending Bible Study or Sunday School, suggesting a social activity, or something else that catches your attention. Here at LCOC, the church is the people, not the building, so we encourage you to get your feet wet and help us be the church together. When we all become the church, the church starts to feel like home.
